PEEK Sternal Ligature Band  For Sternotomy

The PEEK Sternal Fixation Band consists of a ligature and a puncture needle. The ligature is made of polyether ether ketone (PEEK) material, while the puncture needle is made of 30Cr13 stainless steel. Based on the number of products in the package, it is divided into three models. The JZD-01 model is packaged as a single unit, the JZD-03 model is packaged in sets of three, and the JZD-05 model is packaged in sets of five.

PEEK Sternal Closure Band Instructions:

1. Preparation: Clean the wound, confirm no infection, check the sternum ligature for integrity, and prepare surgical tools;

2. Positioning the Ligature: Place the ligature on both sides of the sternum in the correct position to avoid affecting blood flow or nerves;

3. Securing the Ligature: Loop the ligature around the sternum using a specialized tool, and adjust the tightness for proper support;

4. Check and Adjust: Ensure the ligature is secure, check patient comfort, and regularly monitor for looseness;

5. Post-operative Care: Monitor the patient after surgery to ensure the ligature stays in place and the wound heals well.
